HILL VISION OPTICIANS & EYEWEAR

Welcome to Hill Vision – proudly independent opticians located in the heart of Amersham on the Hill, right on the lively Hill Avenue.
We’ve been part of the local community for over 10 years. Hill Vision first opened as part of a franchise, but after a few years, we made the bold decision to step away and become fully independent—and we’ve never looked back. Starting out on our own was something we’d always wanted to do. We believed something was missing in the world of eye care—particularly around quality and personalised service—and that belief became the foundation of everything we do.

  • A thorough review of your history and any symptoms you may be experiencing.
  • Precise prescription checks.
  • Detailed assessment of your eye health, screening for conditions like Age-Related Macula
  • Degeneration, Glaucoma, and Cataracts.
  • Ocular motor tests.
  • Visual field assessment.
  • Intraocular pressure measurement.
  • A clear explanation of our findings and personalized advice.
  • Detection of signs of general health conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes.

Caring for Children's Vision

We understand the importance of healthy vision for children’s development. Approximately 13% of children in the UK may have undiagnosed sight problems, which can impact their literacy and education. We offer:

  • Eye tests for children of all ages.
  • Contact lens fittings (our youngest patient was 7!).
  • A wide selection of fun and funky frames from brands like Zoobug and Centrostyle.
  • Expert advice and management of Myopia (short-sightedness).
